Course context for academic year 2020-21
Esta asignatura centra su objeto de trabajo y de estudio en las distintas alternativas de tratamiento dietético que el profesional de nutrición puede elaborar en una situación concreta de patología en un centro de atención especializada y/o primaria. Focaliza el estudio de las necesidades nutricionales de los pacientes teniendo en cuenta los déficits y limitaciones a causa de la patología que se trate.
Las prácticas se realizan en Centros de Atención Especializada, donde el alumno irá adquiriendo habilidades en el trabajo clínico así como madurando la interrelación con los distintos miembros del equipo de salud, y atención primaria, en las consultas de pacientes con patología crónica.
En el contexto del plan de estudios, esta asignatura es el complemento práctico de las asignaturas que versan sobre las circunstancias patológicas.

- E15 : Understand the essential elements of the profession of a Dietetist-Nutritionist and carry out one's profession respecting other health care professionals.
- E43 : Adquirir las habilidades pertinentes para trabajar en equipo como unidad en las que se estructura de forma uni o multidisciplinar los profesionales y demás personal, relacionados con la evaluación diagnóstica y tratamientos en Dietética y Nutrición.
- E45 : Conocer que canales de comunicación interna o externa, deben implantarse en toda organización para que el Servicio de Nutrición logre el objetivo de que todos los profesionales conozcan sus proyectos.
- E56 : Ser capaz de participar en actividades de promoción de la salud y prevención de trastornos y enfermedades relacionadas con la nutrición y los estilos de vida, llevando a cabo la educación alimentaria-nutricional de la población.
- E57 : Proporcionar la formación higiénico-sanitaria y dietético-nutricional adecuada al personal implicado en el servicio de restauración.
