  MANAGING THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2019-20

A través de los contenidos de la asignatura se pretende dotar al alumno de una visión global de todos los ámbitos y especialidades que intervienen en un proyecto de construcción tanto por lo que se refiere a los agentes que intervienen en él y sus parcelas de responsabilidad y capacidad de organozación de los procesos productivos, como por lo que se refiere a los procedimientos y recuroso que intervienen para el desarrollo y ejecución de un proyecto.

Se potencia el conocimiento y la capacidad de comprensión del proyecto como resultado de múltiples subproyectos y procesos y se sensibiliza respecto a la necesidad de introducir sistemas de gestión profesional de los proyectos que garanticen la calidad global entendidad y dirigida a la satisfacción del usuario y del promotor.

De este modo se trata de estudiar todo el proceso evolutivo de una obra desde su concepción hasta la puesta en marcha y ocupación final, identificando cada una de sus fases e interdependencia de todos los agentes, equipos y actividades implicadas.

Se realizará una parte de organización directa de la obra en la que se colocará al alumno frente a situaciones dentro de la gestión de la obra que permitirá evidenciar los diferentes enfoques de la función "planificación y gestión de la obra" en función del quehacer desarrollado en la misma.

Se destinará buena parte del curso al aprendizaje y estudio de los sistemas de planificación significando los distintos niveles de descomposición o número de actividades según el objetivo perseguido por el planificador.

A partir de los sistemas más conocidad, se evaluarán y asignarán recursos, tiempos y dependencias entre las distintas actividades desarrollando casos prácticos completos, garantizando las premiosas exigidas por el promotor y usuarios de plazo, calidad, seguridad y coste mínimo.

  • E13 : Capacity to apply technical regulations to the building process and generate technical specification documents for the construction procedures and methods of buildings.
  • E15 : Ability to pre-dimension, design, calculate and check structures and oversee their material execution.
  • E16 : Capacity to develop the construction details of building installations, monitor and plan their execution and verify the service and reception tests, as well as their maintenance.
  • E17 : Capacity to programme and organise building processes, site equipment and the technical and human resources needed to execute and maintain them.
  • E18 : Understand building law and that of the contractual relationships that arise at different stages of the building process, as well as the legislation, regulations and specific standards relating to prevention and coordination in the field of health and safety during building work.
  • E22 : Understand the organisation of professional work and the professional practices, offices and societies, the regulations and legislation associated with the functions carried out by Building Engineers and the framework of responsibility associated with the activity.
  • E23 : Capacity to prepare and calculate basic, auxiliary, unit and breakdown costs of units of work; analyse and monitor costs during building, draft budgets.
  • E24 : Ability to develop market surveys and valuations, real estate feasibility studies, surveys and financial evaluation of hazards and damage in building.
  • E27 : Capacity to apply the advanced tools needed to reconcile the parts that make up technical projects and their management.
  • E30 : Capacity to analyse working projects and transfer them to the execution of work.
  • E31 : Understand the functions and responsibilities of the agents intervening in building and their professional or business organisation. Administrative, management and processing procedures.
  • E32 : Understand the professional organisation and basic procedures for building and development.
  • E5 : Capacity to choose the correct building materials for the type and use of the building, manage and direct their receipt and quality control of the materials, their location on site, control the execution of the work units and carry out final tests and trials.
