Course context for academic year 2013-14

Asignaturas Previas Recomendadas: Acústica, Señales y Sistemas, Teoría de la Comunicación, Tratamiento Digital de Señal. También es aconsejable, pero no indispensable, haber cursado: Electrónica Analógica y Transductores Acústicos.

La asignatura aportará al alumnado la asimilación de métodos y estrategias para el tratamiento digital de la señal de audio. Partiendo de los conocimientos previos de las asignaturas recomendadas se particularizará y profundizará en el tratamiento de la señal de audio: conversión de audio analógico a digital, procesado, efectos, compresión, audio espacial, etc. La asignatura proporciona además fundamentos en mayor o menor medida para otras asignaturas posteriores como pueden ser: Sistemas Audiovisuales Avanzados, Síntesis Digital del Sonido, Procesadores Digitales de Señal y Centros de Producción Audiovisual.

  • E1 : Capacity to construct, exploit and manage telecommunications services and applications, understanding these to be systems for the acquisition, analogue and digital treatment, coding, transport, representation, processing, storage, reproduction, management and presentation of audiovisual services and multimedia information.
  • E2 : Capacity to analyse, specify, implement and maintain television, audio and video systems, equipment, amplifiers and installations, both fixed and mobile.

- Comprender los sistemas de conversión de audio analógico a digital. 

- Comprender los procesadores, procedimientos y técnicas empleados en el tratamiento de audio digital. 

- Comprender los fundamentos de la compresión de audio digital. 

- Comprender el funcionamiento de la localización binaural y de las técnicas que emplean los sistemas de sonido espacial para recrearla.

- Comprender los diferentes formatos y soportes de grabación y transmisión de la señal de audio.
