The subject will provide students the assimilation of methods and strategies to solve problems. The concepts and knowledge provided permit to know and assimilate concepts related to engineering in general and in particular in the Computer engineering.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2022-23

CG2: Understanding and mastery of basic concepts and electromagnetic fields and waves, theory of electrical circuits, electronic circuits, semiconductor physical principle and logic families, devices electronic and photonic components, and their application to solve questions of engineering.

Educational Goals:

Knowledge of raw materials and technologies that enable learning and development of new methods and technologies as well as equip them with great versatility to adapt to new
Ability to solve problems with initiative, decision making, autonomy and creativity. Ability to ability to communicate and transmit the knowledge, skills and abilities of the profession of engineer / a Technical in Computer Science.
Knowledge for obtaining measurements, calculations, assessments, appraisals, surveys, studies, reports, scheduling and similar work computer, according to the knowledge acquired under the provisions of the Planning Lessons.

Know and understand the basic concepts and electromagnetic fields and waves.
- Design and analyze simple electrical circuits.
- Know and understand the physics of semiconductors and photonic devices.
