Course context for academic year 2013-14

Tiene como objetivo situar la asignatura en el perfil profesional, en el plan formativo del grado y su coordinación con el resto de asignaturas.

Se trata de la segunda asignatura de matemáticas programada para el primer curso y que completa el módulo obligatorio de formación en esta materia. Como continuación de la asignatura Matemáticas I, cursada en el primer semestre, presenta las herramientas del Cálculo, ahora en varias variables. El núcleo central de la asignatura son las técnicas de optimización matemática aplicadas a problemas del entorno económico. También se aborda el manejo de software informático adecuado para la resolución de los problemas estudiados. Como se indica en la Guía Docente de Matemáticas I , el primer bloque de contenidos es el último de Matemáticas I. Se impartirán los apartados del bloque que no hayan sido posible exponerlos en el primer cuatrimestre.

  • CE3 : Use relevant computer records to evaluate the situation and possible evolution of a company.
  • CE6 : Understand economic institutions as the result and application of theoretical or formal representations of how the economy works.
  • CE7 : Be able to apply different technical instruments for marketing and commercial research to analyse companies in their context.
  • CE8 : Use accounts to analyse a company in its context by using different technical instruments.
