Course context for academic year 2024-25
La asignatura de Métodos matemáticos para la Física I introduce al estudiante en el estudio de la geometría diferencial de superficies del espacio euclideo y de las variedades Riemannianas. Utilizaremos para su desarrollo la capacidad deductiva, los resultados sobre espacios vectoriales, cálculo diferencial de una y varias variables y las herramientas conjuntistas y algebraicas que proporciona el primer curso del grado en Físicas. Esta asignatura ofrece a los alumnos las nociones, resultados y destrezas básicos en el tipo de geometría más popular, que es también la más utilizada en otras asignaturas del grado en Matemáticas, así como en la mayor parte de ramas científicas y técnicas.
