El objetivo de esta asignatura es presentar aspectos relevantes de la Fisiología Humana partiendo de los conocimientos adquiridos en las asignaturas de Fisiología Animal 1 y 2 y Técnicas Estructurales y Funcionales. A lo largo del curso se presentarán los procesos fisiológicos implicados en las adaptaciones del ser humano a diversas situaciones ambientales o de actividad en distintas etapas de la vida y se estudiarán las "funciones superiores" del sistema nervioso, que constituyen el máximo exponente de especialización del hombre como especie.
