Course context for academic year 2012-13

 

La asignatura TECNICAS MOLECULARES es una asignatura eminentemente práctica que ofrece una visión de los fundamentos básicos y de la aplicabilidad de una serie de técnicas ampliamente utilizadas en los laboratorios de investigación en Genética, Bioquímica y Biología Molecular. Esta tecnología da soporte al avance del conocimiento de dichas disciplinas y son herramientas imprescindibles en el desarrollo de la Biotecnología y la Biomedicina, ambas con un gran impacto en la industria y en la sociedad. También resultan herramientas muy importantes para el desarrollo de otras disciplinas de la titulación como Microbiología Aplicada y Genética Aplicada de cuarto curso.

La asignatura se apoya en los conocimientos adquiridos en las asignaturas de Bioquímica I y Genética de primer curso, Bioquímica II de segundo curso y Ampliación de Genética de tercer curso y se complementa con la asignatura de Técnicas Estructurales y Funcionales, también de tercer curso.

  • CE29 : Show knowledge and understanding of the essential facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the areas of Biology.
  • CE30 : Interpret, evaluate, process and synthesis Biological data and information.
  • CE31 : Recognise and implement good scientific practices for measurement and experimentation.
  • CE32 : Safe handling: biological material, reagents, instruments and devices used in Biology.
  • CE33 : Carry out standard laboratory procedures involved in analytical tasks.
  • CE34 : Plan, design and execute practical research studies, evaluating the results.
  • CE35 : Interpret data gathered from observation and measurement in the laboratory and the field.
  • CE36 : Prepare, present and defend scientific and technical reports both in writing and orally to an audience.
