Course context for academic year 2022-23

 

La Zoología II es una asignatura formativa del módulo fundamental y tipo Obligatoria en el Grado de Biología. El objetivo fundamental de esta asignatura es dar al alumno una visión de la diversidad que presenta el mundo animal. Los conocimientos y habilidades adquiridas durante el curso de esta asignatura favorecerá la formación de futuros profesionales en Biología, dándoles el enfoque necesario para que adquieran una comprensión adecuada sobre la complejidad de estos organismos desde el punto de vista de su diversidad y de sus procesos evolutivos. Esta asignatura constituye la continuación y complemento de la asignatura Zoología I, impartida en el tercer semestre, y se centra fundamentalmente en el estudio de los Metazoos Protóstomos. Esta disciplina resulta imprescindible en la formación de los futuros biólogos y constituye la base fundamental de otras muchas disciplinas que se imparten en los siguientes cursos del Grado como son la Fisiología Animal I y II,  Ecología de Poblaciones y Comunidades, Biogeografía y Biología de la Conservación.

  • CE19 : Study animal and plant anatomy and morphology.
  • CE22 : Analyse and interpret the development, growth and biological cycles of living beings.
  • CE4 : Recognise different levels of organisation in living systems.
  • CE7 : Understand evolutionary mechanisms and models.

 

Specific Competences:>>Ability

  • CE29 : Show knowledge and understanding of the essential facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the areas of Biology.
  • CE30 : Interpret, evaluate, process and synthesis Biological data and information.
  • CE37 : Ability to find, analyse, understand and write scientific and technical texts.
  • CE42 : Know how to identify, analyse and catalogue biological organisms.

 

Generic UA Competences
