Competencies and objectives


Course context for academic year 2021-22

Con esta asignatura el alumno completará los conocimientos químicos a sistemas y procesos industriales. Para ello, se hará incapié en la utilización de los balances de materia y energía tanto en sistemas en régimen estacionario como no estacionario. Se realizará una introducción a las ecuaciones de velocidad de transporte.

Specific Competences:>>Theoretical

  • CE15 : Possess knowledge of mass and energy balances matter transfer, separation operations, chemical reaction engineering and reactor design.
  • CE17 : Understand mathematical and statistical methods to validate models from experimental data and optimise chemical processes.


Specific Competences:>> Ability

  • CE26 : Recognise and analyse new problems and plan strategies to solve them
  • CE27 : Interpret, evaluate and synthesise Chemical data and information.
  • CE35 : Interpret data obtained from laboratory observation and measurement.


Generic UA Competences

  • CGUA1 : Understand English as a foreign language in the field of science.
  • CGUA4 : Acquire or possess basic Information and Communications Technology skills and correctly manage the information gathered.
