#### Course context for academic year 2021-22

La asignatura de Matemáticas I se encuentra situada dentro del bloque de asignaturas básicas en el grado de química. Se imparte en el primer cuatrimestre del primer curso del grado y se estudia con la motivación de conocer adecuadamente otras disciplinas relevantes para la Química.

## DEGREE IN GEOLOGY

General Competences (CG)

• CG1 : Develop the capacity for analysis, synthesis and critical reasoning.

• CG5 : Learn autonomously.

Specific Competences (CE)

• CE23 : Acquire an adequate understanding of other disciplines that are important for Geology.
• CE24 : Know how to apply the basic principles of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics to understanding the Earth and geological processes.
• CE25 : Gather, represent and analyse data using appropriate, field, laboratory and office techniques.
• CE26 : Integrate field and laboratory data with theory, following a sequence of observation, synthesis and modelling.
