La asignatura de Matemáticas II se encuentra situada dentro del bloque de materias básicas del grado de Geología Se imparte en el segundo cuatrimestre del primer curso y se estudian los conceptos matemáticos imprescindibles que permiten al alumno comprender y conocer otras disciplinas relevantes para la Geología.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Develop the capacity for analysis, synthesis and critical reasoning.
  • CG3 : Solve problems effectively.

  • CE23 : Acquire an adequate understanding of other disciplines that are important for Geology.
  • CE24 : Know how to apply the basic principles of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics to understanding the Earth and geological processes.
  • CE25 : Gather, represent and analyse data using appropriate, field, laboratory and office techniques.
  • CE26 : Integrate field and laboratory data with theory, following a sequence of observation, synthesis and modelling.
