  19TH AND 20TH CENTURY FRENCH POETRY

Course context for academic year 2021-22

Estudio de las principales etapas, autores, obras y movimientos de la poesía francesa de los siglos XIX y XX.
Esta asignatura se encuentra estrechamente relacionada con el resto de asignaturas de contenido literario de los estudios del grado de estudios franceses.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Capacity to communicate orally and in writing in French with the fluency, precision and complexity required in each particular context and situation.
  • CE11 : Capacity to use pertinent resources and materials: bibliographic repertories, reference works and the new ICTs as an autonomous learner able to control the learning process and progress independently in it.
  • CE12 : Capacity to respect, value and take advantage of multilingualism and multiculturalism as a social agent participating in building a plural and tolerant society on the basis of the multicultural configuration of the Francophone world.
  • CE3 : Understand the sociolinguistic situation of French language and literature in the production and analysis of texts.
  • CE5 : Capacity to evaluate the characteristics, evolution and influences of literary, artistic and cultural trends as manifestations of creativity in the French context.
  • CE6 : Capacity to analyse and criticise literary texts as a creative manifestation and reflection of the sociocultural context.
  • CE7 : Capacity to analyse texts in French from linguistic, literary and cultural viewpoints.
  • CE8 : Capacity to interpret and understand the main contributions of the movements and trends of French literary genres in the construction of classical and contemporary literary thinking and evaluate its social impact.
  • CE9 : Capacity to interpret, produce and develop explanatory and explicative academic documents and technical reports associated with the discipline.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2021-22

Actitudinales:

Suscitar en el/la alumno/a la curiosidad y desarrollar un interés investigador en torno a la poesía francesa.
Apreciar las relaciones que se establecen tanto desde el punto de vista sincrónico como diacrónico y valorar las relaciones de las creaciones poéticas con otras artes del ámbito artístico y cultural francés.
Valorar la contribución y el alcance de dichas escuelas y poetas en el devenir de la tradición poética francesa y francófona. Así como desarrollar la capacidad de establecer relaciones con movimientos y producciones poéticas de otras literaturas extranjeras.

Procedimentales:

Desarrollar técnicas de lectura, análisis y síntesis, como herramienta fundamental para desarrollar la capacidad de análisis y crítica del texto poético tanto en su vertiente formal como temática.
Desarrollar la capacidad y el hábito para utilizar los recursos y materiales pertinentes: repertorios bibliográficos, diccionarios, obras de referencia y TICS como un aprendiente autónomo capaz de controlar el propio proceso de aprendizaje y de progresar de forma independiente en él.

Conceptuales:

Ser capaz de distinguir las características de cada escuela o movimiento poético estudiado pertenecientes a los siglos XIX y XX franceses.
Ser capaz de reconocer y distinguir las peculiaridades y los rasgos distintivos de los poetas más característicos de dichas escuelas.
