Course context for academic year 2021-22

Aquesta assignatura pretén augmentar la competència lingüística i comunicativa en català, especialment mitjançant la producció i l'anàlisi de textos de l'àmbit acadèmic. És una assignatura de primer curs (3 crèdits teòrics i 3 crèdits pràctics), oferida als estudiants d’altres graus de llengua i literatura de la Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres diferents de Filologia Catalana i del grau d’Humanitats.

Aquesta assignatura proveeix una formació bàsica atès el caràcter instrumental que té, ja que l'alumnat aprofitarà l'aprenentatge adquirit per a altres assignatures. També proporciona una formació fonamental per a les futures tasques professionals en què el català estiga involucrat (docència, traducció, assessorament lingüístic i literari, planificació lingüística, etc.). Està directament relacionada amb l’assignatura Pràctica de la Normativa Catalana de segon curs i també amb les de continguts literaris Introducció a la Literatura Catalana Medieval (primer curs) i Literatura Catalana Actual (segon curs). Forma part de l’itinerari de Capacitació Docent en Valencià dels estudis de llengües i literatures i del grau d'Humanitats de la Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres.

L'assignatura condueix a l’obtenció del nivell de llengua C1 de valencià en els diferents graus de llengua i literatura i d'Humanitats de la Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres.

A més, l'assignatura incorpora la perspectiva de gènere als objectius, continguts, avaluació i metodologia i fomenta el pensament crític com un dels objectius bàsics de les disciplines humanístiques contemporànies.

  • CE5 : Assess and interpret the cultural diversity of the Region of Valencia, contrasting the indigenous cultures of the region with other cultures with which relations and contacts are established, using the official languages as the vehicles for interaction.
  • CE8 : Acquire skills to prepare and display content related to the human and social sciences for dissemination and for educating secondary school children, using personal skills and ICT.

  • CE1 : Understand the key theories of the disciplines associated with Arab and Islamic Studies and apply them in practice to be able to operate appropriately in the different professional profiles accessible through the degree qualification or undertake further studies with a high level of autonomy.
  • CE5 : Capacity to interpret, produce and develop academic descriptions and arguments and/or technical reports related to the professional contexts that can be accessed with the degree qualification.

 

Transversal Competences

  • CGUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Be able to express oneself correctly in one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia in one's discipline.

 

DEGREE IN FRENCH STUDIES

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE11 : Capacity to use pertinent resources and materials: bibliographic repertories, reference works and the new ICTs as an autonomous learner able to control the learning process and progress independently in it.
  • CE12 : Capacity to respect, value and take advantage of multilingualism and multiculturalism as a social agent participating in building a plural and tolerant society on the basis of the multicultural configuration of the Francophone world.
  • CE2 : Capacity to reflect on and describe the particular, unique and exclusive linguistic characteristics of French, as well as those it has in common with other languages, especially those of the Region of Valencia, and apply said knowledge to the analysis, understanding and production of French in oral and written forms.

Objectius generals

Augmentar la competència lingüística i la competència comunicativa en català.

Objectius conceptuals

• Conèixer els conceptes de llengua i dialecte, normalització i normativització, així com les característiques de la variació diafàsica, especialment els factors que condicionen el registre.
• Conèixer les propietats dels textos escrits i orals (adequació, coherència i cohesió) i els distints tipus de text.
• Conèixer els mecanismes d’elaboració d'un text tant oral com escrit: generar, seleccionar i ordenar les idees, recursos per a lligar les idees (paràgrafs, marques en el text i connectors), adequar el text al destinatari i revisió i correcció del text.
• Conèixer les característiques de la llengua escrita, així com les diferències amb la llengua oral i les condicions de llegibilitat d'un text.
• Conèixer la normativa del català i les característiques i les peculiaritats de l'estàndard i els subestàndards orals i escrits de la llengua catalana.
• Conèixer els sons de la llengua catalana amb valor de fonema, els fenòmens de contacte vocàlic (elisió i sinalefa) i els fenòmens de contacte consonàntic (neutralitzacions, emmudiments, sonoritzacions, assimilacions i geminacions).
• Conèixer els processos de preparació de qualsevol intervenció oral en públic: debat, taula redona, exposició i les tècniques d'execució d'una intervenció oral en públic.


Objectius procedimentals

• Produir diferents tipus de texts orals i escrits que permeten satisfer les necessitats comunicatives que genera el context social immediat, el medi acadèmic universitari, i el medi professional del futur.
• Transformar un text oral col·loquial en un text escrit estàndard.
• Confegir diferents tipus de textos utilitzant l'ordinador, especialment expositius (ressenyes, comentaris, exposicions orals) i argumentatius (sobre un tema d'actualitat) de manera reeixida (adequats, coherents, cohesionats, correctes i llegibles).
• Reproduir adequadament tots els sons en qualsevol posició sil·làbica, incloent la fonètica sintàctica.
• Fer una exposició oral en públic amb claredat, precisió i bona prosòdia (entonació, ritme i accentuació).
• Analitzar i valorar l'acceptabilitat del model de llengua oral i escrit emprat en els mitjans audiovisuals.
• Descriure i comparar les diferències entre el model de llengua col·loquial de l'entorn social amb l'estàndard i adaptar un text del model col·loquial a l’estàndard oral.

• Analitzar críticament la manera com el llenguatge construeix el discurs sobre el gènere i la sexualitat.

Objectius actitudinals

• Valorar la importància de la reflexió sobre els mecanismes de producció de textos per a millorar les destreses comunicatives.
• Valorar positivament l'ús públic del català en qualsevol situació comunicativa.
• Valorar la importància d’aconseguir un model de llengua adequat des del punt de vista normatiu i de la màxima acceptabilitat social possible.
