Course context for academic year 2022-23

Esta asignatura intenta dar a conocer lo que es la moderna ciencia arqueológica en su vertiente práctica de puesta en valor del patrimonio. También que se conozcan los vestigios de mayor interés que se conservan en las tierras valencianas, así como con los distintos tipos de recurso turístico arqueológico y las técnicas para su interpretación al público visitante.

Se pretende que los alumnos adquieran una idea exacta de la importancia y fragilidad de estos vestigios, que aprendan a valorarlos en su justa medida como fuente de gran valor documental e histórico, y que ayuden a difundir estos conceptos entre el resto de la sociedad, gracias a la enorme importancia del fenómeno turístico en la actualidad.
