  TOURISM MANAGEMENT OF COASTAL AREAS

Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2021-22

Esta asignatura se orienta al estudio de los procesos litorales, a la ocupación del territorio litoral por las actividades humanas relacionadas con el turismo y el ocio, y al análisis de los instrumentos, métodos y técnicas de gestión de estos espacios. La asignatura se inspira en los principios de sostenibilidad, respeto al medio ambiente, conservación y recuperación de los ecosistemas y rentabilidad social. Se pretende dar al alumnado una visión integral de la geografía y el turismo de los espacios litorales, de las amenazas a las que éstos se ven sometidos, y de las acciones encaminadas a su recuperación.

  • CE23 : Analyse the impacts generated by tourism.
  • CE28 : Understand the objectives, strategies and public instruments of planning.
