Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2023-24

La llengua és pot estudiar tant des d’un enfocament intern: l’estructura i les estratègies lingüístiques a fi de crear un text que siga adequat, cohesionat i coherent, com també amb un enfocament extern: la visió social de la llengua, ja que partim de l’axioma que llengua i societat són les dues cares d’una mateixa moneda, és a dir, són indestriables.

Cal que tinguem en compte que vivim en una zona on hi ha dues llengües en contacte: el català, que és llengua pròpia i oficial en diverses comunitats autònomes de l’estat, i el castellà, que és llengua oficial a tot l’estat. Açò provoca que visquem en un context de conflicte lingüístic i de minorització de la llengua catalana.

A partir d’aquests dos enfocaments, l’intern i l’extern, aquesta assignatura té com a objectiu oferir a l’alumnat tots els instruments necessaris per a l’anàlisi de la realitat sociolingüística en què vivim a partir del comentari i l’elaboració de textos, és a dir, comentar i elaborar textos en català per a conéixer el context sociolingüístic en què vivim.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE5 : Assess and interpret the cultural diversity of the Region of Valencia, contrasting the indigenous cultures of the region with other cultures with which relations and contacts are established, using the official languages as the vehicles for interaction.
  • CE8 : Acquire skills to prepare and display content related to the human and social sciences for dissemination and for educating secondary school children, using personal skills and ICT.
