This programme is designed as a course focusing on mutual cultural influences between English and Spanish speaking countries and their linguistic influences in the form of borrowings, which are approached from different levels of analysis (morphological, lexical, semantic and syntactic). Particular attention will be given to the conceptual and lexicographic problems and the variation in their use.
