Course context for academic year 2024-25

La asignatura se centra en el desarrollo de los conceptos necesarios a tener en cuenta para el diseño y ejecución de edificios con bajo consumo energético, de forma que se establezcan inicialmente los conocimientos necesarios para evaluar el comportamiento energético de un edificio desde dos puntos de vista.
Inicialmente se definirá normativamente qué es y como se definen los “Edificios de Consumo Casi Nulo” (ECCN o NZEB por sus siglas en inglés), para pasar posteriormente a estudiar los fundamentos necesarios para que esto se pueda cumplir tanto en la edificación nueva como en la existente.
Si se considera que el consumo energético de un edificio se define mediante el cociente entre la demanda energética que se necesita para cubrir las necesidades de calefacción, refrigeración, ACS, ventilación e iluminación y el rendimiento de los sistemas de cubren estas necesidades. En base a esta consideración se estudiará por un lado la envolvente térmica de las edificaciones y sus requisitos normativos y por otro lado, las instalaciones necesarias en las edificación así como la necesidad de implantar energías renovables para cubrir parte del consumo energético considerado.

Specific Competences

  • CE4 : Analyze and develop Bioclimatic, Sustainable, and Energy Efficiency techniques in Architectural Projects.
  • CE5 : Analyze the life cycle considering long-term savings and investments.

Learning outcomes (Training objectives)

· Simular las inversiones necesarias para evitar la obsolescencia energética de edificios.
· Conocer mejoras constructivas y de instalaciones a realizar en los edificios para mejorar su comportamiento energético.
· Analizar energéticamente la envolvente de los edificios.
· Calcular la pérdida energética que se produce a través de los puentes térmicos.
· Conocer las técnicas constructivas y de diseño para poder minimizar la presencia de puentes térmicos.
