Course context for academic year 2024-25

This matter belongs to the educational block "Mathematics". The objective is to introduce real numbers and develop notions of continuity, differentiation and integrability that will have its natural continuation in the subjects "Mathematical Analysis II" and "Analysis of complex variable". In addition, it will support and tool for other blocks of training as "Mathematical analysis", "Differential equations" and "Statistics".

  • CG1 : Desenvolupar la capacitat d'anàlisi, síntesi i raonament crític.
  • CG3 : Resoldre problemes de manera efectiva.
  • CG6 : Aprendre autònomament.
  • CG7 : Demostrar capacitat d'adaptar-se a noves situacions.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE14 : Realitzar, presentar i defendre informes científics tant per escrita com oralment davant d'una audiència.
  • CE16 : Proposar, analitzar, validar i interpretar models de situacions reals.
  • CE17 : Resoldre problemes de matemàtiques, mitjançant habilitats de càlcul bàsic i altres tècniques.
  • CE7 : Adquirir nous conceptes matemàtics.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2024-25

To learn how to use the analysis of sequences and numerical series. To know and use the concepts and the essential results of the differential calculus and integral calculus of one real variable. To manage different kinds of functions as a tool to solve a great variety of problems.
