Course context for academic year 2023-24

The Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture (GFA) Final Project (TFG) consists of an original work/project of a professional or academic nature, carried out individually and in the field of architecture, related to one of the disciplines studied. The TFG will be carried out individually and will be presented and defended before a University Board. This work synthesises and integrates the competencies acquired throughout the GFA.

Only students who have completed a minimum of 210 credits will be able to register for the TFG subject, in accordance with the Regulations on the Continuation and Progression of Studies for Students Enrolled in Undergraduate Degree Courses at the University of Alicante.

The requirements for the right to present the TFG and to be assessed by the University board will be as follows:
- For the assessment of the TFG it will be necessary to have a minimum of B1 level of English and a B2 of Spanish.
- For the defence of the TFG report before the Examining Board, you must have a maximum of two subjects pending and the Final Degree Project (BOUA of 30 June 2014).

Although the TFG is one of the five subjects of the second four-month period of the fifth year in the University of Alicante's (UA) Foundation Degree Course, its development is governed by the general regulations of both the University and the Higher Polytechnic School (EPS).

For this purpose, the following should be consulted:

1) REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE FINAL/COMPLETION OF MASTER'S PROGRAMMES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE, promulgated by the Governing Council of the UA on 30th October 2012.

2) REGULATIONS OF THE HIGHER POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE ON THE REGULATION OF BACHELOR'S AND MASTER'S DEGREE THESES.

Both regulations can be consulted on the EPS website (Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture).
