Competencies and objectives

Course context for academic year 2021-22

The optional subject "Advanced Nuclear Magnetic Resonance" (36643) is a 3 ECTS course which belongs to the Medicinal Chemistry Master Degree. This course is taught once a year, currently in the second semester. It is available for all graduate students.

This subject brings to completion the studies and knowledge acquired by the students in the course "Structural Determination of organic Compounds" (26030) of the Chemistry Degree.

During this course homo- and heteronuclear 2-D NMR correlation will be covered as well as the NMR spectroscopy of other important spin nuclei such as, 15N, 2H, 31P, 31F, and 28Si.
