Esta asignatura, centrada en la España del siglo XVIII, pretende acercar al alumno a la sociedad de esa centuria, tanto peninsular como ultramarina, y analizar la repercusión política que tuvo la llegada de la dinastía borbónica a los territorios de la Monarquía hispánica y su evolución hasta el momento de la invasión napoleónica (1808)
