The subject of Transport Phenomena is a core course in Chemical Engineering. Momentum, Heat and Mass transfer are studied at the microscopic level from the theoretical and practical point of views. This allows the chemical engineer to design in detail transfer phenomena.

Be able to solve problems analyticalyl and/or numerically.
Be able to describe different models of turbulent flow.
Be able to approach and solve problems of convective heat or mass transport in one, two or three dimensions at steady or unsteady state.
Be able to solve complex problems by using Matlab or COMSOL Multiphysics
