Course context for academic year 2019-20

Dentro del Módulo de Optatividad, la asignatura forma parte del bloque "Literatura griega y latina". Con el objetivo de estudiar la decisiva influencia de la literatura latina en el desarrollo de las diferentes literaturas europeas, la asignatura ofrece una aproximación a la historia de la tradición clásica de los géneros poéticos latinos, con particular atención a la poesía épica. Su planteamiento y contenidos se complementan con los de la asignatura "Tradición clásica latina: prosa", que se incluye en el mismo bloque.
