The subject Teleoperation is within the curriculum of the degree in Robotic Engineering. This subject presents the common control techniques for teleoperation systems, applying them to the field of robotics at different levels of complexity. To do this, we study bilateral systems, predictive control and supervisory control. Finally, emphasis will be placed on user interfaces and sensory feedback to obtain an immersion in the environment.
General Competences (CG)
Specific Competences (CE)
The main objective of the subject is to have a knowledge of teleoperation systems applied to robotics.
Know the different teleoperation architectures used in robotics, as well as the control systems involved.
Know the interfaces that allow immersive feedback in the robotic environment.
Know how to control a teleoperated system.
