Course context for academic year 2026-27

La asignatura Derecho del Trabajo I tiene como finalidad esencial ofrecer al alumno, tras la explicación de cuáles fueron los motivos que originaron la aparición del Derecho del Trabajo, el análisis exhaustivo tanto teórico como práctico de los conceptos generales que conforman esta rama especial del ordenamiento jurídico. Sin duda, esta asignatura resulta esencial para para determinar el verdadero significado del marco jurídico del trabajo asalariado como un elemento que permite ajustar, dentro de ciertos límites, la utilización de la mano de obra a las necesidades y a las exigencias reales de las empresas. Le proporcionará al futuro egresado en Relaciones Laborales y Recursos Humanos un primer acercamiento a una materia básica en su profesión y de la que necesitan obtener un conocimiento amplio a fin de desarrollar su actividad de asesoramiento y representación de trabajadores y empresarios ante los múltiples conflictos que pueden ser sometidos a su criterio profesional. Por lo demás, es aconsejable que el alumno cuente, para asumir el estudio de esta asignatura, con nociones de otras asignaturas que también se imparten en el Grado (en especial, Civil y Constitucional) y con ciertos conocimientos relacionados con obligaciones y contratos.

  • RA25 : Achieve a critical understanding of the complexity of socio-environmental challenges and problems, including the analysis of the structural roots of gender inequalities, discrimination and social exclusion, threats to peace and human rights, as well as environmental challenges, from a perspective that promotes sustainable development, democratic values, social equity and the eradication of all forms of violence, especially sexual violence.
  • RA27 : Understand the social processes resulting in legal-labor regulation.
  • RA28 : Appreciate the social reasons and values that determine, condition and justify the principles of labor regulation.

-Assimilate and understand the legal-positive regulation of the employment contract: its formalization, legal assumptions for its existence, temporary, indefinite hiring and modalities of employment contract.

-Aptitude to apply in practice the labor regulation of the rights and duties of the parties to the contract of
