Course context for academic year 2026-27

La asignatura Trabajo y protección social del no nacional contribuye al perfil profesional del estudiante de Grado en la medida en que aporta los conocimientos fundamentales en materia de Derecho de extranjería, que resultan indispensables para conocer y dar respuesta a la problemática que plantea el fenómeno migratorio, cada vez más frecuente en España, debido al gran número de personas de otros Estados que accede a nuestro territorio en busca de una oportunidad laboral. Se pretende, de esta forma, que el estudiante conozca cuál es el régimen jurídico de trabajo y de protección social que ampara tanto a los extranjeros comunitarios como a los extranjeros no comunitarios que pretenden desarrollar en España una prestación de servicios por cuenta propia o ajena. Y ello con el objetivo de que, en su vida profesional, sea capaz de abordar de forma eficaz cuestiones relacionadas con los derechos laborales y de protección social de los extranjeros en general y de los inmigrantes en particular.
