Course context for academic year 2026-27

La asignatura aborda el Control y la Gestión de la calidad de los materiales y sistemas constructivos en edificación, así como la gestión de los residuos generados en los procesos constructivos y de demolición.

Se orienta al desarrollo de competencias profesionales, de los futuros/as Graduados/as en Arquitectura Técnica, vinculadas al control técnico de calidad de la obra (de los materiales y de los sistemas constructivos), la aplicación de la normativa vigente y la incorporación de criterios de sostenibilidad y digitalización en el sector de la edificación.

Skills/Skills

  • O1 : To direct the material execution of building works, their installations and elements, carrying out qualitative and quantitative control of what has been built by establishing and managing control plans for materials, systems, and work execution, preparing the corresponding records for their incorporation into the Building Book. To carry out the economic control of the work by preparing certifications and the settlement of the executed work.
  • O7 : To provide technical advice in the manufacturing processes of materials and elements used in building construction.

 

Conocimientos/Contenidos

  • CE04 : Knowledge of traditional or prefabricated materials and construction systems used in building, their varieties, and the physical and mechanical characteristics that define them.
  • CE08 : Knowledge of specific procedures for controlling the material execution of building works.
  • CE12 : Knowledge of the environmental impact assessment of building and demolition processes, sustainability in building, and procedures and techniques for evaluating the energy efficiency of buildings.
  • CG04 : Knowledge of the chemical characteristics of materials used in construction, their manufacturing processes, the methodology for testing their characteristics, their geological origin, environmental impact, recycling, and waste management.

 

Skills/Competences

  • CE05 : Ability to adapt construction materials to the typology and use of the building, manage and direct the reception and quality control of materials, their placement on site, control the execution of work units, and carry out final tests and trials
  • CE09 : Ability to rule on the causes and manifestations of defects in buildings, propose solutions to prevent or correct pathologies, and analyze the useful life cycle of elements and construction systems.
  • CE11 : Ability to prepare manuals and maintenance plans and manage their implementation in the building.
  • CE20 : Ability to manage quality control in works, the drafting, application, implementation, and updating of quality manuals and plans, carrying out quality management audits in companies, as well as for the preparation of the building book.
  • O5 : To manage new building technologies and participate in quality management processes in building; to carry out analyses, evaluations, and certifications of energy efficiency, as well as sustainability studies in buildings.
  • O6 : To direct and manage the use, conservation, and maintenance of buildings, drafting the necessary technical documents. To prepare studies on the useful life cycle of materials, construction systems, and buildings. To manage the treatment of demolition and construction waste.
