Course context for academic year 2026-27

The Master's Thesis (TFM) must be an original, independent and individual piece of work, prepared under the supervision and guidance of an academic supervisor. During the preparation process, each student is entitled to and required to attend a minimum of three supervision meetings, to be arranged with their academic supervisor.

This is the final module of the Master's degree programme, bringing together all the knowledge acquired throughout the programme, both in the field of research methodology and in the various areas and fields of educational research. Students are therefore expected to integrate all the knowledge acquired by designing and conducting a complete research project on a topic within their chosen research line, under the supervision of an academic tutor, and to present the results of their work publicly.

The Master's Thesis (TFM) is managed through the UAProject platform, available in each student's Virtual Campus. This platform provides information on the dates for the publication of available thesis topics and the submission of students' applications, the deadlines for the provisional allocation of thesis topics, the period during which students may submit appeals, and the publication of the final allocation of thesis topics.
