Course context for academic year 2025-26

La presente asignatura es una actividad formativa transversal de carácter optativo común a todos los programas de doctorado, gestionada e impartida por la EIDUA, cuya finalidad es que el estudiantado predoctoral adquiera la capacidad de integrar los fundamentos de la prevención de riesgos laborales (PRL) en su investigación.

El marco reglamentario en materia de PRL no solo es de obligado cumplimiento para todo tipo de empresa y actividad laboral, sino que entre sus principales objetivos se encuentra la integración de la seguridad y salud en todo proceso productivo, incluyendo las actividades de investigación. Por ello, la justificación de esta actividad formativa dirigida al estudiantado predoctoral se basa, tanto en el conocimiento del marco reglamentario en materia de PRL necesario para el futuro desempeño profesional, como en el fomento de la investigación de esta materia.

Además, tal y como recoge la Estrategia Española de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, 2023-2027, es necesario promover la investigación para conocer el impacto de los cambios de carácter tecnológico, ecológico, climático y demográfico en la salud de las personas trabajadoras y anticipar actuaciones preventivas.

Competencias básicas

  • CB11 : Systematic comprehension of a field of study and mastery of the skills and research methods related to said field. (The term "field" is replaced by "area" as from the application of Royal Decree 576/2023, of 4 July)

  • CB17 : Ability to promote Open Science and Citizen Science, in accordance with article 12 of Spanish Organic Law 2/2023, of 22 March, as means of contributing to the consideration of scientific knowledge as a common good. This can be accomplished by assessing transversal activities conducted by the doctoral student. The activities shall be related to different dimensions of Open Science and Citizen Science, as well as the training acquired in these disciplines in the form of micro-credentials or similar (from the application of Royal Decree 576/2023, of 4 July).
  • CB6 : Poseer y comprender conocimientos que aporten una base u oportunidad de ser originales en el desarrollo y/o aplicación de ideas, a menudo en un contexto de investigación.
