Transversal Competences

General Competences
- CG04 : Verification and Certification in the field of aeronautical engineering, in accordance with the knowledge acquired as established in section 5 of order CIN/308/2009, of 9 February, on aerospace vehicles, aerospace propulsion systems, aerospace materials, airport infrastructures, aeronautical infrastructures and any space, traffic and air transport management system.
- CG07 : Capacity to analyse and assess the social and environmental impact of technical solutions.
- CG08 : Knowledge, understanding and ability to apply the necessary legislation in the exercise of the profession of Aeronautical Technical Engineering.
Specific Competences
- CE20 : Appropriate knowledge applied to engineering of: the materials used in building; the needs and development of airport infrastructures and their environmental impact; the buildings necessary for the operation and functioning of airports.
Basic Competences
- CB2 : Students should know how to apply their knowledge to their job or vocation in a professional manner and should possess those skills that are usually reflected when preparing and defending arguments and solving problems in their field of study.
- CB3 : That students have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (usually within their area of study) in order to make judgements that include reflection on relevant social, scientific or ethical issues.
- CB4 : Students should be able to transmit information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Learning outcomes (Training objectives)
- Know, understand and apply the necessary legislation on environmental noise impact in the aerospace sector.
- Be familiar with the different specifications, regulations and mandatory standards in the field of noise impact.
- Be able to carry out measurements, calculations, valuations, appraisals, expert reports, studies, reports, task planning and other similar work in the field of environmental noise impact in the professional sector of the aerospace industry.
- Ability to analyse and assess the social and environmental impact of technical solutions related to the emission and propagation of sound waves.
