Learning outcomes (Training objectives)

This subject will enable students to learn the basic concepts and objectives of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, aimed at reducing the appearance or consequences of the main diseases in the course of the healthcare task aimed at individuals (Preventive Medicine), as well as for information and implementation of strategies for the control of the main diseases and the promotion of the health of populations (Public Health). Finally, students are expected to acquire practical skills for the critical assessment of preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic health problems from the approach of evidence-based medicine and public health.
