Course context for academic year 2025-26
La titulación y la mayoría de las materias específicas que la conforman se plantean, fundamentalmente, desde la perspectiva de la comunicación comercial. Pero existen otros ámbitos en las sociedades actuales cuyas tareas y funciones son eseciales en cualquier estado, como los gobiernos e instituciones públicas, las organizaciones políticas, las asociaciones ciudadanas o las organizaciones no gubernamentales, con un gran peso y representatividad. Resulta imprescindible, por tanto, el conocimiento y la gestión de la comunicaciónn todos estos ámbitos.
De esta perspectiva, la asignatura Comunicación Política y de Interés Social tiene como objetivo dotar al alumno de una visión global y crítica que le permita ampliar su conocimiento y preparación en otras formas de comunicación no estrictamente comerciales, lo que ampliará sus posibilidades para desarrollar su carrera profesional en una amplia variedad de instituciones y organizaciones, tanto públicas como privadas, contando para ello con una sólida base de conocimientos sobre comunicación política y de utilidad pública.

- CES30 : Study the evolution of the industrial, social and aesthetic factors that affect the transformations of the elements, forms and processes of persuasive communication.
- CES31 : Understand the state of the world and its cultural manifestations, as well as their evolution, seeking the reflection of its basic paradigms (political, economic and cultural) in advertising and public relations.
- CES32 : Study and reflect on the interrelationships of commercial and non-commercial communication with the context, paying special attention to the influence that communication may have on the transformation of industrial, social and aesthetic parameters.
Specific Competences:>>Professional (practical)
- CE1 : Capacity to understand global communication and information processes.
- CE29 : Capacity for the objective analysis of reality and the extraction of valid considerations.
- CE38 : Ability to understand and explain the concept of advertising and public relations and their relationship with certain discursive models, as well as the influence of these transformations on their present characteristics.
- CE49 : Master the resources and skills needed to design commercial and non-commercial campaigns and promotional activities.
