Course context for academic year 2025-26

The Multimedia Dissemination Systems course is an optional subject in the Content Management specialty. It focuses on the context of the dissemination and reuse of content in various media, where product development faces the challenge of optimising visibility and reach. To address this issue, the implementation of a project is proposed where students must be able to design and execute customised dissemination strategies. This involves the use of content management systems, the development and reuse of services, the publication and reuse of data, as well as the use of analysis tools for monitoring and evaluating the impact of the actions.

This subject is related to the others within its itinerary: E-learning, Internet-based Multimedia Services, Advanced Multimedia Services and Business and Multimedia. In this subject the PBL (Project-Based Learning) methodology will be followed, through which students will work in groups and will develop a transversal project that integrates selected subjects of the itinerary, sharing methodology and, partially, the evaluation system.
