Course context for academic year 2025-26

This course contributes to an understanding of democratic theory as well as fundamental ethical values and their application, enabling them to address current challenges to democracy in a reasoned manner. Additionally, students should acquire knowledge and understanding of the regulations and basic concepts regarding gender equality, along with the main techniques, tools, and methodologies for their application within the sphere of Public Administration. In this way, the course supports the professional profile associated with the degree and contributes to the development of both its general and specific competencies. The role of the course within the curriculum is structured as part of the core knowledge and is interconnected with the other legal subjects in the study plan

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Capacidad para interpretar y comprender los fundamentos del sistema jurídico y los principios estructurales del Estado en la Constitución española.
  • CE12 : Capacidad para conseguir la percepción del carácter unitario del Ordenamiento jurídico y de la necesaria visión interdisciplinar integrada, sistemática y completa en la administración y gestión pública.
  • CE16 : Capacidad para saber dirigirse correctamente ante cualquier Administración Pública y hacer valer las pretensiones con la suficiente argumentación jurídica, potenciando un análisis crítico, en su caso.
  • CE17 : Capacidad para debatir y participar en la resolución de problemas jurídicos y extrajurídicos, así como el saber expresarse en público o ante situaciones relacionales.
