This subject is scheduled in the 7th semester of the Degree of Civil Engineering, and it is optional out of the Hydrology study block. It aims that previously learned knowledge is applied by students, along with the presented concepts, in order to solve those geotechnique problems that are present in hydraulic works.

Digitization: Performance of stability calculations using Slide, RocPlane. Calculation of settlements using Settle.

  • CT10 : Capacity to confront, plan and solve real problems demanded by society in the field of engineering.

  • CEH1 : Knowledge and ability to plan and size hydraulic works and installations, for industrial water production, energy systems, hydroelectric plants and management of surface and underground water resources.
