Course context for academic year 2024-25
La asignatura de Ingeniería Sanitaria se encuadra en el 2º cuatrimestre del tercer curso del Grado en Ingeniería Civil (Transportes y Servicios Urbanos). Tiene por finalidad habilitar y capacitar a los estudiantes en las técnicas de planificación, diseño y construcción de sistemas de abastecimiento de agua potable y redes de saneamiento y de drenaje urbano.
El desarrollo de la asignatura se lleva a cabo mediante clases teóricas, prácticas de problemas y prácticas con ordenador. En todas ellas se espera del alumno una participación activa, planteando y, en su caso, resolviendo las diferentes cuestiones que puedan surgir en el transcurso de las mismas.
El adecuado proceso de aprendizaje por parte del alumno requiere una sólida formación previa en Hidráulica e Hidrología, así como en Materiales de Construcción, Geotecnia y Cimientos, Resistencia de Materiales, Cálculo de Estructuras, etc., y en las ciencias y técnicas básicas, fundamentalmente Matemáticas, Química, Física e Informática.
