Course context for academic year 2024-25
Asignatura de cuarto curso dedicada al análisis y planificación territorial del turismo, que tiene como propósito la comprensión del concepto de espacio turístico y su dinámica de funcionamiento. Aporta al alumnado una formación especializada que le permite identificar los componentes formales (imagen y marca asociada a lugar) y funcionales (estructura de oferta, planificación y gestión) de un territorio turístico y las relaciones complejas que configuran destinos turísticos en diferentes entornos territoriales de referencia: medio rural, áreas de montaña, espacios litorales, ciudades, espacios corporativos. Integra los procesos de planificación a escala de destino, las herramientas y la valorización del potencial del territorio para crear productos turísticos.

- CE4 : Capacity to combine temporal and spatial dimensions when analysing and interpreting spatial planning.
- CE5 : Capacity to read and interpret spatial information provided by statistical tables, graphs, maps, plans and satellite images correctly.
- CE6 : Capacity to transform and synthesise spatial information provided by statistical tables, graphs, maps and plans.
- CE7 : Capacity to determine and interpret the elements of the area in question according the scale of analysis.
- CE8 : Capacity analyse territory as a complex, interrelated and interdependent system.
