Course context for academic year 2024-25

Asignatura dedicada a la explicación de los principales conceptos y categorías de la la Historia de América desde la colonización hasta el tiempo presente, así como al análisis de los grandes procesos sociales y culturales desarrollados durante este periodo de la Historia de la Humanidad en América.
Esta asignatura ofrece al alumnado una formación básica en aspectos esenciales de la docencia de la Historia en la enseñanza secundaria y en investigación y documentación histórica.
Esta asignatura se coordina con las asignaturas “El mundo contemporáneo”, “Los estados modernos hasta la paz de Westfalia”, “De la Europa de Westfalia a la crisis del Antiguo Régimen”, “Historia Moderna de España” de tercer curso, y “De las Guerras Mundiales hasta la Globalización”.
