Course context for academic year 2024-25

 

 

Es tracta d’una assignatura impartida pel Departament de Filologia Catalana i dissenyada com a segona literatura per a la resta de titulacions del Pla Formatiu de Grau de la Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres i d'Humanitats. La naturalesa de l’assignatura està plenament justificada com a complement formatiu, i sobretot, per tractar-se d’una introducció a la literatura d’una de les llengües cooficials de la Comunitat Valenciana. Així apareix en les memòries dels diferents graus, atenent una disposició general de la Universitat d’Alacant sobre el coneixement del valencià.

 

Pel que fa a la contribució concreta de l’assignatura a cada titulació en què s’impartirà, aquesta es presenta com una possibilitat d’ampliar el ventall d’opcions d’expansió cultural més enllà de les matèries específiques del grau.

L’assignatura té caràcter semestral i s’imparteix en el segon semestre del curs. Consta de 6 crèdits, dels qual 2,4 són presencials i 3,6 no presencials; alhora, dels presencials 1,8 són teòrics mentre que 0,6 es dediquen a la realització de pràctiques.

Quant al contingut, l’assignatura ofereix una introducció general a la literatura catalana medieval. Amb l'ajuda de materials diversos (reproduccions digitals, gravats, pintura...) es presentarà el vast món de la cultura medieval. D’altra banda, amb edicions solvents tot i que degudament adaptades al nivell dels estudiants, es treballaran les obres més representatives.

L'alumne així adquirirà coneixements i competències que li permetran assolir una formació vàlida per a les tasques docents, investigadores, de crítica literària, d’assessorament i dinamització culturals o de creació. Serà capaç de llegir i d'analitzar amb esperit crític i amb una adequada interpretació les obres rellevants estudiades i de poder parlar-ne amb arguments i amb criteris científics.

L'assignatura es coordina especialment amb la resta d’assignatures de literatura catalana medieval, moderna i contemporània de la matèria Literatura Catalana que completen el Pla Formatiu. A més, estableix les relacions pertinents amb la resta de literatures romàniques amb les quals té contactes.

  • CE5 : Assess and interpret the cultural diversity of the Region of Valencia, contrasting the indigenous cultures of the region with other cultures with which relations and contacts are established, using the official languages as the vehicles for interaction.
  • CE8 : Acquire skills to prepare and display content related to the human and social sciences for dissemination and for educating secondary school children, using personal skills and ICT.

  • CE1 : Understand the key theories of the disciplines associated with Arab and Islamic Studies and apply them in practice to be able to operate appropriately in the different professional profiles accessible through the degree qualification or undertake further studies with a high level of autonomy.
  • CE13 : Understand and analyse the main stages, movements, authors and works of literature in a second language of those proposed in the degree course.
  • CE7 : Understand the characteristics and evolution of literature in the Arabic language to understand the role of its manifestations in building classical and contemporary literary thinking and assess its impact on the Arab social context and its relationship with other literatures.

DEGREE IN FRENCH STUDIES

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE10 : Capacity to carry out French language consultancy, style and correction tasks.
  • CE11 : Capacity to use pertinent resources and materials: bibliographic repertories, reference works and the new ICTs as an autonomous learner able to control the learning process and progress independently in it.
  • CE12 : Capacity to respect, value and take advantage of multilingualism and multiculturalism as a social agent participating in building a plural and tolerant society on the basis of the multicultural configuration of the Francophone world.
  • CE14 : Capacity to interpret and analyse the main stages, movements, writers and works of the Literature of a second language.
  • CE6 : Capacity to analyse and criticise literary texts as a creative manifestation and reflection of the sociocultural context.

  • CP20 : Capacity to use the pertinent materials and resources: bibliographic repertories, dictionaries, works of reference, critical editions, translations and ICTs as an independent learner able to control one's own learning process and make the corresponding independent progress.
