Course context for academic year 2024-25
Es tracta d'una assignatura optativa que s'imparteix en el segon semestre. L'assignatura consta de 6 crèdits, repartits de la manera següent: 2,4 són presencials i 3,6 no presencials; alhora, dels presencials 1,8 són teòrics mentre que 0,6 tenen caràcter pràctic.
La funció essencial de l'assignatura Didàctica de la llengua i la literatura (català) és oferir als estudiants del grau en Filologia Catalana una formació bàsica sobre aspectes metodològics i d'aplicació pràctica relacionats amb la tasca docent en les etapes educatives no universitàries d'educació secundària obligatòria (ESO) i batxillerat. Una de les eixides professionals dels estudiants d'aquest grau és la docència en les etapes adés esmentades. Per això, aquesta assignatura de caire optatiu pretén dotar l'alumnat de les eines necessàries per a encarar aquesta tasca. Els continguts preveuen, en primer lloc, una familiarització amb el sistema educatiu valencià centrat en les funcions del docent de l'assignatura Valencià: llengua i literatura. També tracta les implicacions organitzatives i didàctiques en les etapes d'educació secundària obligatòria i de batxillerat, així com l'anàlisi del currículum de l'assignatura en aquestes etapes educatives. En aquesta assignatura els alumnes adquireixen les destreses necessàries per a analitzar material didàctic d'aula, programacions didàctiques i recursos en suports tradicionals i digitals de tota mena. Els continguts teòrics (sistema educatiu, habilitats comunicatives i programacions) estan al servei de les pràctiques, la realització de les quals tenen com a finalitat facultar l'alumnat per a elaborar propostes didàctiques adequades a situacions sociolingüístiques diferents, així com redactar i exposar un projecte final que consistirà en una seqüència didàctica en format tradicional o en format digital centrada en un nivell acadèmic determinat.

DEGREE IN CATALAN STUDIES
General Competences (CG)
- CG1 : Capacity to master the key theories, perspectives and conceptualisations for constructing the theoretical framework of linguistic and literary disciplines applied to Catalan language and literature as an expert on the subject and in different professional profiles.
- CG2 : Capacity to understand the role of language in the construction of human beings as active members of a linguistic and cultural community and relate this to the function of individuals in society.
- CG3 : Capacity to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques.
- CG4 : Capacity to manage and use the resources provided by the information and communications technologies and apply those to the language and literature industries.
General Competences acquired at University of Alicante (CGUA)
- CGUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
- CGUA3 : Ability to communicate effectively and have linguistic understanding of one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia (Spanish or Catalan) in their discipline.
Specific Competences (CE)
- CE1 : Capacity to communicate in the Catalan language in communicative situations (oral and written), allowing fluid communication in the professional and academic areas in which the student will be working in the future, taking into account his/her knowledge of the historical, social, cultural and artistic reality of his/her context.
- CE10 : Capacity to use the pertinent resources and materials for self-learning (bibliographies, dictionaries, reference works, terminological works, tutorials, new technologies) and transmit the information in the Catalan language.
- CE11 : Be able to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques, formulate working hypotheses, demonstrate them with arguments and reach conclusions, as well as recognise and ensure the textual coherence (structure of the text, organisation of ideas, progression of information, use of keywords), to explain and argue any subject related to Catalan language and literature, thus achieving the role of expert, transmitter and adviser regarding the knowledge acquired.
- CE12 : Capacity to understand, value and take advantage of multilingualism with an attitude favouring the standardisation of Catalan, to participate in cultural and linguistic diversity, as well as promoting it to ensure the better social development of the language.
- CE2 : Capacity to understand morphological, syntactic, phonetic and lexico-semantic characteristics to use, transmit and apply knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Catalan in oral and written forms.
- CE3 : Capacity to understand the pragmatic, textual and discursive characteristics of the Catalan language to use, transmit and apply knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Catalan in oral and written forms.
- CE6 : Ability to use the standard model (and the different sub-standards) of the Catalan language, as well as understanding and knowing how to apply lexical creation and innovation mechanisms to adapt oneself to the communication needs of the modern world.
- CE8 : Capacity to understand the different epochs, movements, models and values described in Catalan literature, as well as the traditions in which they are set, the specific textual resources used, paying special attention to the comparative study of common and different elements, within the same or between different literary contexts.

- Valorar positivament les eixides professionals docents dels estudis de Filologia Catalana.
- Promoure actituds positives envers la formació didàctica i lingüística permanent del professorat de secundària i batxillerat.
- Conéixer les possibilitats i les necessitats d'adaptació del professorat als diferents contextos sociolingüístics, específicament pel que fa als tractaments del català com a L1 minoritzada i com a L2 minoritzada.
- Fomentar la funció docent del professorat de llengua i literatura en les etapes de secundària i batxillerat com a agent promotor d'una visió positiva de la llengua catalana en la realitat social valenciana.
- Fomentar la funció social de prestigi del professorat de llengua i literatura com a model de llengua i com a model d'hàbits d'ús i comportaments lingüístics.
- Aplicar les TAC (tecnologies de l'aprenentatge i del coneixement) com a eines per a la interacció didàctica.
- Fer servir correctament i amb eficàcia comunicativa la normativa que regula l’ús de la llengua en el registre formal de l’àmbit acadèmic, sobretot dels textos expositivoargumentatius.
- Fer servir correctament les convencions ortotipogràfiques del registre formal escrit de l’àmbit acadèmic.
- Elaborar programacions d'aula, unitats didàctiques i/o seqüències didàctiques per a les àrees lingüístiques adequades als diferents contextos d'aprenentatge del País Valencià.
