Course context for academic year 2024-25

La asignatura Optica II se enmarca en el tercer curso del grado de Físicas. Pretende, junto con la asignatura Optica I, impartir las bases que configuran el área de conocimiento de Óptica.

En esta asignaura se introducirán y desarrollarán conceptos como las interferencias, la difracción, el estudio de un sistema optico como un sistema de transmisión de información, la teoría general de formación de imágenes, las aberraciones ópticas y finalmente, teoría de láseres.

Con estos conocimientos el alumno queda capacitado para abordar conocimientos más complicados, como la holografía, los recubrimientos multicapa de los elementos ópticos, la formación de imágenes en el ojo humano y en astronomía así como el procesado óptico y digital de la información.

  • CE12 : Recognize and analyze new problems and devise strategies to address them.
  • CE13 : Understand the most important physical theories.
  • CE14 : Prepare, present and defend scientific reports both in writing and orally in front of an audience
  • CE15 : Be able to locate and use relevant literature.
  • CE16 : Devise, analyze, validate and interpret models of real situations.
  • CE2 : Recognize and assess physical processes in everyday life.
  • CE3 : Be able to estimate ranges of magnitude in order to interpret various phenomena. To carry out the approximations required in order to reduce problems to a manageable level. Develop intuition in Physics.
