Recomendable haber superado las asignaturas Análisis Matemático I y II, Álgebra y Geometría I y II y Métodos Análiticos para Ecuaciones diferenciales. Se trata de introducir al alumno en el aprendizaje de las nociones básicas del Análisis funcional relativas a: espacios normados, espacios de Hilbert, teoría de distribuciones, series y transformadas de Fourier, ecuaciones diferenciales de la Física y funciones de Green.
