Course context for academic year 2024-25

La asignatura Trabajo Fin de Grado se ubica en el cuarto curso del plan de estudios del Grado en Matemáticas tratándose de una asignatura obligatoria tal y como recoge los Reales Decretos 1393/2007, de 29 de octubre y 861/2010, de 2 de julio, por el que se establece la ordenación de las enseñanzas universitarias oficiales.

Las directrices que se establecen en la Universidad de Alicante para el desarrollo de esta asignatura quedan recogidas en la Normativa sobre los Trabajos de Fin de Grado/Trabajos de Fin de Máster en la Universidad de Alicante aprobada en el  Consejo de Gobierno de la Universidad de Alicante el 30 de octubre de 2012 y publicado en el BOUA el 31 de octubre de 2012, así como la normativa propia de la Facultad de Ciencias.

Mediante la realización del Trabajo de Fin de Grado el estudiante deberá demostrar las competencias adquiridas durante sus estudios de matemáticas, tanto las específicas de la titulación, como las competencias generales o transversales como son las ligadas a la búsqueda y organización de documentación, a la redacción clara y concisa de una memoria escrita que recoja un trabajo original del alumno, y a la presentación en público de su trabajo de manera clara y adecuada.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand and use mathematical language. Acquire the capacity to enunciate propositions in different fields of Mathematics, to construct demonstrations and transmit the mathematical knowledge acquired.
  • CE10 : Communicate, both orally and in writing, mathematical knowledge, procedures, results and ideas.
  • CE16 : Prepare, present and defend scientific reports both in writing and orally to an audience.
  • CE7 : Use computer applications for statistical analysis, numerical calculus and symbolic calculus, graphic visualisation and others to experiment in Mathematics and solve problems.
  • CE9 : Use bibliographic search tools for Mathematics.

 

Specific Generic UA Competences

  • CGUA1 : Understand scientific English.
  • CGUA2 : Possess computer skills relevant to the field of study.
  • CGUA3 : Acquire or possess basic Information and Communications Technology skills and correctly manage the information gathered.
