Course context for academic year 2024-25
Sociología urbana se imparte, con carácter obligatorio, en el 4º curso del Grado de Sociología. Se inscribe dentro de la materia Ecología/Espacio, junto a otras asignaturas como Sociología del medioambiente y Sociología del turismo.
Su contenido se centra en el estudio de la relación entre la sociedad y el espacio construido, buscando aplicar una perspectiva sociológica al análisis de la ciudad y los fenómenos urbanos. Para ello, se ofrece una visión general de las principales aportaciones teóricas y líneas de investigación que han facilitado la interpretación y análisis de las distintas problemáticas sociales en el contexto urbano.

- CES1 : Analysis of the main concepts and generalisations on human society and its processes.
- CES2 : Analysis of the main features of the modern historical system (structure) and the transformations and evolution of contemporary societies.

- CEH2 : Understanding of and ability to produce and analyse quantitative and qualitative data and gather secondary information.
- CEH3 : Capacity to plan, design and execute social intervention projects and public policies designed to deal with social problems.
