Course context for academic year 2024-25
Esta asignatura pretende introducir al alumno en el mundo de la geometría tridimensional a través de herramientas informáticas que permitan modelar y simular la realidad. En concreto, se presentarán los principales modelos teóricos usados por programas CAD para representar la realidad que nos rodea, tanto con fines industriales (diseño industrial, arquitectónico, publicidad...) como de ocio (videojuegos, películas, ...).
Además la asignatura tiene una fuerte componente práctica que trasladará los conceptos teóricos a una de las herramientas profesionales más usadas hoy en día para realizar modelado y animación gráfica. Uno de los objetivos finales de la asignatura es que el alumno inicie el desarrollo de su propio "port-folio" incluyendo las prácticas realizadas durante la misma.
