Course context for academic year 2024-25

El edificio como exponente constructivo, histórico o contemporáneo, es analizado para conocer su estado de "salud", las posibles patologías y la intervenciones pertinentes para su adecuada conservación y uso.

El/la arquitecto/a técnico/a participa en el proceso de intervención, en el mantenimiento y/o la rehabilitación de los edificios, por lo tanto, debe poner en valor los conocimientos adquiridos en historia de la construcción, estructuras, construcción, materiales, instalaciones, etc. de forma que sea capaz, en primer lugar, de identificar si un edificio tiene lesiones, el origen y la gravedad de estas y, posteriormente, proponer soluciones constructivas y planes de mantenimiento.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • E10 : Ability to rehabilitate buildings and restore and preserve the Architectural Heritage.
  • E11 : Capacity to draft manuals and maintenance plans and manage their implantation in buildings.
  • E9 : Capacity to pass judgement on the causes and manifestations of building lesions, propose solutions to avoid or rectify the pathologies and analyse the useful life cycle of building elements and systems.

 

General Transversal Competences
