Competencies and objectives
Course context for academic year 2023-24
Medical robotics is a booming discipline in recent years, being incorporated into different areas such as rehabilitation, assistance and surgery. In this course we will study the main types of medical robots and other complementary tools, such as virtual reality, widely used in this field. We will also experiment with real and simulated medical robots to learn how to design and apply robotic systems in the field of rehabilitation, assistance or surgery.
