  • CG12 : Understand the foundations of action, indications and efficacy of therapeutic interventions based on the available scientific evidence.
  • CG17 : Determine the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment, applying the principles based on the best possible information and in safe clinical conditions.
  • CG18 : Prescribe the most appropriate therapy for the most prevalent acute and chronic processes, as well as for terminally ill patients.

-Understand the general principles of pharmacokinetics and their relationship to drug effects.
-Understand and explain the general mechanisms of drug action and their relationship to the therapeutic and toxic effects of drugs.
-Understand and explain the theories of drug-receptor interactions and the molecular and cellular mechanisms of drug action.
-Describe and explain the main pharmacological properties (mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic and toxic effects) of the groups of drugs that act on
-Describe and explain the main pharmacological properties (mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic and toxic effects) of groups of drugs acting on organs and systems.
-Describe and explain the main pharmacological properties (mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic and toxic effects) of groups of anti-infective drugs.
-Describe and explain the main pharmacological properties (mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic and toxic effects) of anti-infective, anticancer, anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug groups.
